Alignment
Founder Lauren Crittenden studied art and philosophy as an undergraduate before earning a Master’s in clinical mental health counseling. Her understanding of aesthetics and an appreciation for quality and the hands that strive to create has been informed by watching her father, a lifelong carpenter. The idea for Bestow was born from an alignment of her values, pursuits, and influences.
Lauren is passionate about mental health, and the human capacity for growth and development, especially in healing from trauma. She is thankful for the support she has received on her own journey in wellness that has contributed greatly to her creative ability to start Bestow and develop the meaningful connections she shares with others, including the artists that collaborate with her today. She looks forward to dedicating a portion of Bestow’s profit to organizations committed to the wellness of others so that they too can move into living and creating with joy.
Lauren spent her childhood years growing up in the Flathead Valley and currently lives in Darby, Montana with her husband, two daughters, and their blue heeler. She is grateful to call Montana her home.
